An online tool for designing knitting patterns — Japanese charts, sweater constructions, necklines and ready-to-use PDFs. Everything runs in your browser, with no installation.
The free trial is for the Basic plan: for 3 days you use every Basic function without paying. After 3 days the Basic plan (€10 a month) is charged automatically unless you cancel beforehand, and we email you a reminder before the trial ends. Premium has no trial — it is paid from the first day.
Basic: after the 3-day trial you are charged €10 a month. Premium: you are charged €25 a month from the day of purchase. Your subscription then renews automatically every month on the same day.
You can cancel yourself, at any time, in a minute: 1. Go to knitlabstudio.lemonsqueezy.com/billing (the same link is in the app: Cloud → “Subscription & cancellation”). 2. Enter the e-mail address you used to buy and click Sign In. 3. Open the “Sign in to Lemon Squeezy” e-mail and click the button (the link works for 60 minutes). If you see a “Sign up to Lemon Squeezy” page asking for a password, do not fill it in — just open knitlabstudio.lemonsqueezy.com/billing again. 4. Next to KnitLab Basic or Premium click “…”, then Cancel. 5. In the “Are you sure?” window click the red “Cancel subscription” button (the grey “Cancel” only goes back). The status changes to Cancelled. Cancel during the 3-day trial and you pay nothing. After a paid month starts, you keep access until the end of that month and are not charged again. If anything does not work, write to contactknitlabstudio@gmail.com and we will cancel for you.
Basic (€10) — chart drawing, symbol editor, swatch calculator with step-by-step calculations, PDF download and the front, back and sleeve drawn on the grid, yarn calculator, V-neck and collars, manual placement of pattern repeats and PDF/PNG export with the KnitLab logo. Premium (€25) — everything in Basic + garment constructor (4 sweater generators), raglan constructor, photo underlay, report splitting, adding and removing cells, automatic repeat placement, 4 PDF project templates and clean exports without a logo (for selling patterns).
Yes — the patterns you create are yours. Premium lets you export them cleanly, without a logo. Basic exports include the KnitLab logo.
Because you are using Basic. The logo is removed in Premium, giving you clean PDFs and images ready to sell under your own brand.
Yes — your projects are saved to your account in the cloud. You can also back them up to a file (Project → Save file).
Yes. Within 14 days of the start of your subscription you can withdraw without giving a reason: you pay only for the paid days you used and we refund the rest (the free trial is not counted). After 14 days, a billing period that has already started is not refunded, but you can cancel at any time to stop renewals. Details are on the Refunds & cancellation page.

No. KnitLab Studio does not use artificial intelligence. You create charts, calculations and PDFs yourself, with the tools in the app. Your projects are not used to train any AI models.
